Obstetric and Gynaecology posting

Hey guys,

Currently I'm in 3rd year OnG posting. It has it's ups and downs.

The first time I went to hospital it was so scary, I constantly think, what if I hurt someone, what if I prescribe the wrong drugs, what if I screw up? I mean I'm dealing with someone's life, for life's sake.

And then the first day I went into the labour room... I was traumatized. What ever they said it was being magical and anything.. I found out on that later. That day was just too gruesome because the doctor was the least gentle. Buh-looood everywhere.

But then, when the baby was out, they let her hold him for a little while and I saw the smile, the way her eyes light up. Wahhh magical indeed. I was changed.

Then come the palpating baby in the stomach class. Scary. I had to pressed here and there. Am I hurting you? I kept on asking her. I felt the head floating around like a ballon, magical.

That one time I felt a baby kicked. Senyum panjang lebar.

I walked into the wards. Babies on my left. Babies on my right. I wanted to just scoop them up.. *self-control*

However, my posting is ending soon. *sad face*. Next week I'm having examination. Nervous-worried combo.

12/12/13

Hello guys!

Today is a special day.

Do you know that it is the birth date of a very famous icon in India and quite possibly the world?

Yep.

For those of you who didn't know him, let me introduce you the awesomeness I grew up watching.

Rajnikanth!

Try getting a ticket on the first 30 day in India, you'll know how large of a fan base he has.

His movies are always so inspiring, it's just too awesome

Punch line after punch line.

Most of the time the punch line is the important etiquette we ought to know.

I know. I know. Lately his movies are kinda eyebrow raising.

Especially Enthiran and Sivaji the boss. But the awesome quality are still there it's just that these days the film makers are trying to potray sexiness so much. And sometimes you just go laugh out loud at the ridiculousness but somehow it's okay because it's him.

You can ask me to sit and watch his old movies over and over again, I'll still watch it.

Among my favorites are Padaiyappa, Muthu, Annamalai and Basha.

I'll list list few of his famous punch lines soon. Not tonight because I'm dead tired. Zzzzzzzz...

Updated :

1) Naan oru thadava sonna nooru thadava sonna madhiri - Basha

When I said it once, it's like I have said a hundred times.

2) Andha aandavan sollaraan, indha Arunachalam mudikkaraan - Arunachalam

What the God has dictate, this Arunachalam will do it.

3) Malai da AnnaMalai. Naan sollaradhayum seyven, solladhadeyum seyven - Annamalai

All praise to Annamalai (their God's name). I'll do what I told you, I'll also do what I didn't tell.

4) Kedaikkaradhu kedaikkaama irukkaadhu. Kedaikkaama irukkaradhu kedaikkaadhu - Muthu

What is suppose to be yours you will get. What isn't suppose to be your you won't get.

5) Padaiyappa

My way is the ultimate way. Don't cross me.

6) Padaiyappa

Anger is the cause of all miseries. One should know how to control it. Otherwise, one's life would be miserable.

7) Padaiyappa

Padaiyappa's friend : But the government is with them.
Padaiyappa : just go. God is with us.

8) Yen ippadi ellathukkum kova padareenga
Pombalai na.. porumai venum - kovapada koodadhu
adakkam venum - avasarapada koodadhu
Amaidhi venum - Aathirapada koodadhu
Kattupadu venum - Ippadi katha koodadhu
Bayabhakthi ya irukkanum - Bajarithanam panna koodadhu

Mothathula - pombala, pombalaiya irukkanum. - Padaiyappa

Why are you upset over little things?
A woman, must be patient - can't be angry
Must well behave - don't rush into things
Must be calm - don't hassle..
Must be cultural - can't shout like this
Must be pious- don't be a woman of trouble

Above all, a woman, must act like a woman.

Phewww.. That was a tough translation.

End of Flash back.

I enjoyed Padaiyappa best. Hence, the overflowing of movie quotes from Padaiyappa.

Oh by the way it is also the birthday of Big Bang's Seungri.

Cute maknae no?

Green Tea

When it's near to the exams, times like these will come often.

Time of distractions.

Times where my creativity will flow.

Time where I can continue my long-abandon written novel.

But today I'm going to share about green tea.

Those who loves green tea put your hands up in the air, and wave like you just don't care.

I've picked up this love for green tea right around the end of my 2nd year.

My mom's future son-in-law, my sister's future better half, my future brother-in-law, my future pow money place, bought my mom green tea from Egypt. Lots of 'em. Some satchet form, and plenty in leaves form.

My mom wasn't very fond of them.

So I gave it a try that one night.

My oh my, do I fell in love on the first taste?

Ever since, I've been taking it 2-3 times daily.

Sometime I came back from a long day, a cup of green tea is there to calm me down.

Anyway, the first green tea I tried on is

These are absolute amazing. I actually kept extra sachet just in case for one of those gloomy days, but my mom kept on promoting them because I kept on saying how much I love it. From 10 extra satchet now I'm left with only 1. Bit budget-teaser.

Then I tried on this. I was slightly disappointed because the first impression was too good, this one fell short. It doesn't taste much different from the normal tea but I guess it's just me. But point is it's still green tea and now I can enjoy normal tea without sugar.

I move over to this next one after the previous finishes and this time it is slightly better from the previous one but still no match to the first one. And the tea doesn't come out green like in the picture.

Then I move on to this leaves which I have no idea what brand it is because he brought it in a plastic without the box. But it's awesome because all the authentic taste is still there. Now that I start enjoying green tea, my younger sister is too. So whenever we want to drink together, we just brew these.

However, brewing tea takes time. So I looked for a budget friendly green tea sachet and came to find this brand. Weirdly, the taste is ALMOST the same to my first love, however, less intensity and with a hint of ginger taste.

GINGER? I know right? I swear I could taste it even though my mom don't seem to taste it.

For some of you who don't have the team to make one, grab a green tea in a bottle or can. Those are sweetened but at least you're stepping a step closer to the dark I mean green side.

My personal favorite is

                            Awesome!

So why do I seem to fond so much of green tea?

Researches had it that,

Lots more on benefits of green tea you can read up online.

So I'm still on the quest to find the best green tea out there. If y'all know any good ones, do share.

Hello, December

Hey December.

It felt like it's just yesterday the year started and now it's already the end of the year.

Out of all the months in a year, December has always been my favorite.

Duh. When we were kids, December equals to holidays.

But also for a whole other reason which could be quite obvious to some who knows me well.

In western countries, December equals to Christams, equals to happiness. Which sounds pretty good to me. To me, December is a month where I want to be happy everyday.

To me,
December just feels awesome. I practically wanna high five all those who were born on December.

It's like, "Hey which month were you born in?"

"December,"

"Oh really, grats to you. Wohooo. High five!"

Hehe.

Anyway, today we started it with a bomb.

We ate Nasi Ambeng in a 'dulang'. Apparently, it's a traditional food from Javanese which they always ate in functions.

It felt, close. I missed these moments.

I want more of these moments in my future if that's not too much to ask for.

This month, I have a wish.

Dear you, please find me soon.
