This is my Coup D'ètat (According to G-dragon)! And Let's Talk About Seungri!

This post is dedicated to yet another G-Dragon post simply because he's AWESOME. Slowly but surely I'm turning into YGStan and G-Dragon fangirl.

G-Dragon or also known by his real name Kwon Ji Yong have proved to everyone why he's called the king of KPOP. He's like Michael Jackson coming back to live. I hope this isn't too burdensome to put on him but he's just too awesome I see MJ in him.

Coup D'Etat is French for Revolution. Or something like a throw down of a government.

My favorite line from this song is, Hid more tightly, I can see you head..

The first time I saw the MV I couldn't understand and my eyebrows were raised. Like heh another part of GD I couldn't understand. The other part was his fashion sense. I'm sorry but sometimes i just couldnt brain it. But the song was good. The chorus was catchy. I. Simply. Love. Slow. Hip hop.

And then I saw this link.

It's all about the enigma of the MV explained. Then I was like.. :0 I was completely amazed. How amazing they managed to tell that kind of story in a four minutes of MV. The part about how he couldn't be with his one true love almost got me to tears.

And his 5 deaths.

This part was kinda scary for me. Gulp.

And his fight with inner self to let Kwon Ji Yong out.

And he came out victoriously.

Woohoo. Anyway, just hours after his part 1 album release, there's already noise about how it's wrong and trying to manipulate Muslim's beliefs.

Let me break it down to you people. From my understanding yo.

This is a gospel AMEN
When I saw the translation, I guess one could jump to conclusion "Ooooooo he's trying to convert us. Banish it before it lays eggs." The sentence was dripped with sarcasm if you couldn't tell. But one could also do a bit of research and actually learn something.

So I took the initiative to dig in.
Firstly, what does the word gospel means?

Gospel means an account that describes birth, death and resurrection. So when GD said 'This is a gospel' it means his life story of his birth, death, and the resurrection. Even in Islam, sometimes, they call the Injil as gospel. There's no such thing if you go and read the lyrics in anyway converting you to Christianity. It's not that simple as that. It requires you to actually say you want out and act it. Now don't get me wrong. I'm not telling you to how to.. Nauzubillah. May Allah forbid.

Secondly, what I'm telling you is to check before you talk. You don't want to sound stupid right? Don't just assume everything is wrong. You make life tougher and you make Islam sounds so bad. Stop it. I'm telling this to those who have misunderstanding to GD.

Thirdly, the racism issue. Just because he painted his face black you assume he's mocking the blacks. Come on, he did a song with Missy Elliot for god sake you'd think he'd be doing stuff like that. I bet he doesn't have an ounce of racist in his gene. Let's see from artistic point of view.

What does black refers to? Depression, sadness, mourning, the end, evil and whereas red represent nobility, victory.

Well maybe to some people that's the whole point. They don't have an artistic bone in their body hence they can break the code.

Hehe.

Anyway, no hates, all love please.

After all he's boiling money. ;)

Life's a peephole. Especially famous celebrity. You only know what he/she portrays, so no judgement unless you're best friends. Oh wait best friend don't judge each other.

Black was amazing. It's my favorite. R.O.D lyric was beautiful. Niliria was good too.

By the way, enough of the educational part.

Coup D'Ètat part 2 came out this afternoon and I only got the chance to check out the MV Crooked.

Put it simple, I love the let's run wild and free, hunched, rocker, rebel/trouble-maker side of GD. ♪♫ Saranghagopeunde sangdae eopgo ♪♫

Next is Let's Talk About Seungri!

I'm in love with this guy since I heard about BigBang. He was the first one to catch my eyes (it's weird I know).

To be honest, when the teaser came out, it was bit, scratch that, a lot risqué, I was afraid to watch it. But the video wasn't so bad. So relieved.

His first solo album was good but I thought he was trying too hard to show his mature side, it appeared bit awkward. But now, hokshi! Uri maknae is all grown up. His charisma, his crisp thin voice, his suave move, waaaaahhhh...

The songs were good, and I was captivated by how genuine the lyric was. He wrote them and you can feel it was all him.

And uri maknae was better this time when he's performing. Eye contact. And have anyone tell you how he's a king of fan service. Props to the girl for being the memorable one at the event.

Gotta talk to you was pretty. Catchy and quite easy to catch on. Seungri moves got me trying them out and I really can't dance. *blush*

Let's talk about love was a gift since we get to hear both GD and Taeyang in it. And have you heard Taeyang rappin'? Holy good. Smexy! And GD was awesome not overshadowing anyone else.

Starting from this week both boys going head to head. But truthfully it doesn't feel like a competition. It feels like we're being gifted with two presents on our birthday. I wish my birthday is everyday.

Aigoo, what are these guys doing to my heart. I'm suppose to be a BOICE.

Can I be both VIP+BOICE?

:)

Sorry YongHwa I'm not betraying you.
